Hi there! My name is Andrew and I have been traveling the world for quite some time now. I quit my corporate job five years ago and exchanged my suits and briefcase for an itinerary and a backpack. Since then, I have made a full-time career working for myself while still experiencing the beautiful sites and escapades that the world has to offer. In my more than five years of traveling, I have learned that the best things happen when you throw caution to the wind and take the plunge.

This blog contains information and stories about the places that I’ve visited and the products that I’ve used during the course of my travels. I carefully curate the photos I take on my trips to different cities across the world. Most of the posts you will see here are short and focused, providing and extensive story on the culture, people, events, traditions, and natural environment of the places that I have been to. This blog contain my personal insights and experiences, along with some useful tips that my readers can try out on their own travels.

Traveling Resources

Although my blog started as a way for me to document my experiences and share the photos I have taken during my trips, it has since evolved into a place where my readers can find honest travel tips and advice, fun stories about being on the road, and reviews about hotels, cameras, and other essentials that I typically bring with me when I travel.

Whenever I write my guides and articles, I always take into account the fact that not everyone can make the same choices that I did. I understand that many people want a more stable life while still having the ability to go on adventures every now and then. Some people I always try to strike a balance between my own experiences and the personal circumstances of my readers.

Some of the traveling resources that my readers can browse through in this blog include guides on how to find the best prices on hotels and other accommodations, how to find find cheap flights and get the best fares for both standard and budget airlines, and how to be a global citizen and be able to live and work from anywhere. I also cover obscure topics such as purchasing travel insurance, frequent flyer tips and tricks, photography tips and travel camera comparisons.

Traveling Philosophy

This blog is a way for me to connect with and inspire my readers. My personal mission is to help other aspiring wanderers to travel and step out of their comfort zones. The world has so much in store for everyone, and the best things always happen when you go off the beaten path and aim for spontaneity.

Although this travel blog has considerably expanded into other areas of lifestyle and travel, I try to stay true to my roots and keep my passion alive. I live an exceptional life, but it has never ever felt like the new normal. I still get excited every time I visit a new place and I still feel grateful that I have been able to sustainably live this nomadic lifestyle.

As a prime example, there are a lot of people who would like to see and experience Amsterdam for themselves. This, of course, is highly understandable, given the many possible experiences you can have in this magical city (the musei di Amsterdam are already huge marvels in themselves). While this is true, it’s still not advisable to visit Amsterdam without any prior knowledge about the city.

That’s where this blog comes in. With the help of this blog, you can easily get some tips as to what you should do and should not do when it comes to traveling. Don’t worry though; being careful doesn’t mean you can’t have fun anymore.
